18/05 : Fact Ninety-Nine
I am a chameleon.Whatever social situation I may find myself in, I am able to blend in rather easily. It is rare when I can't hold my own in a group of people. Once I start talking, it's as if a bunch of moths and butterflies flock to my light. I am very entertaining, charming, and quite the conversationalist. I started talking at 10 months and never shut up.
I can be a good girl. I can be a tough woman. I can be a fragile child. I can kick some serious butt. I can be humorous. I can be compassionate. I can be anything I am required to be. I am gifted to be who I am. I love it.
I do tend to run a bit on the self-deprecating jokes and a tad much on the embarrassing stories, but really I am okay with it. I like to joke that overweight people are told to wear black because it makes them appear slimmer. I don't care how much black I wear, I'm still overweight. I am the one of the only ones I know who is completely comfortable with myself. I say that with great humility even if it is a fact.
I had to work long and hard to insure that I like who I am. It didn't happen overnight. I've had challenges and changes nearly every day of my life. But, I use these lessons to allow myself to change as needed for any social situation.
