Once her fingers danced the keys with lightest of a touch
Once her fingers held his hand within the tightest clutch
Once her voice rose up in song against the fiery morn
Once her voice rose up against him, sharp with anger torn
Once her mind created words of written perfect dreams
Once her axe fell down on his finally silenced screams
Once her freedom gained release from deep within she soared
Once her anger turned within, her breath would come no more.
